Do you know what you are voting for?

This year’s ballots will include measures to amend the Kentucky State Constitution.

Amendment 1 - Citizenship Requirements for Voting

  • Voting “yes” supports amending the constitution to add the statement, “No person who is not a citizen of the United States shall be allowed to vote in this state.”

  • Voting “no” opposes amending the constitution and keeps the language as-is.

Amendment 2 - Allow State Funding for Non-Public Education

  • Voting "yes" vote supports amending the constitution to enable the General Assembly to provide state funding to students outside of public schools

  • Voting "no" vote opposes amending the constitution to enable the General Assembly to provide state funding to students outside of public schools.

Local Referendums

Some counties and cities are holding referendums asking voters to decide to reject, accept, or modify the KY state law allowing for the sale of medical marijuana. Read more information about options

How are you getting to the polls?

If you are voting in Calloway County, Murray/Calloway Transit Authority (MCTA) provides free rides to the polls! Schedule a ride by calling MCTA at 270-753-9725 for daytime services Monday through Friday, or call 270-752-1139 for Friday night and Saturday services.
